Dog Grooming

Pamper your pooch with our expert styling from nose to tail. We offer a large range of services to spruce up your pooch such as: Full groom, bath and blow dry, puppy groom, hand stripping, deshedding. *Prices dependant on breed, size, behaviour & coat condition.
Cat Grooming

We have the Purr-fect pamper for your feline friend! All grooming is customised and tailored specifically to each kitty. They will have the pamper of a life time in a calm and relaxed environment & will leave a glamour-puss. Available treatments; De-shed & Brush out, De-matting, Bath & Blow dry, Hygiene clip, Lion clip (full shave), Nail clip and Ear cleanse.
Teeth Cleaning

We have a wide range of teeth cleaning services to choose from; a full deep clean using our ultrasonic toothbrush by Emmi-pet, or just a quick breath freshen up. Please note we are not to replace any vet procedures but to help prevent and maintain plaque & tartar build up.

The Dog House Grooming Agreement

We do everything possible to make sure your pet’s time with us is as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, occasionally grooming can expose a previously hidden medical issue, or aggravate a current one. This can happen during or after grooming.

It's possible that an accident could occur during grooming. Utmost care and caution will always be taken, but cuts, scratches, nicks, and quickening of nails could occur, but The Dog House cannot be responsible for any conditions or problems discovered during grooming.

The Dog House will not be responsible for the accidental death of the pet as a result of any pre-existing health condition.

Should we determine, at our discretion, that urgent veterinary care is required, due to a pre existing health issue, undisclosed or otherwise. I agree to pay all associated fees and costs, for any injury not associated with with grooming. If my pet’s vet is not available, I authorise The Dog House to use it's chosen vet, Rutland House Veterinary Surgery (Haydock).

The Dog House will not be liable for any after-grooming effects of de-matting, clipping, or brushing procedures, or problems uncovered on a badly matted or otherwise neglected coat including, but not limited to, skin redness, itchiness, or self-inflicted irritations from excessive external scratching or rubbing. Time and costs associated with de-matting are unpredictable. I agree to pay whatever fees are incurred as a result of de-matting. Whether a dog is matted is at the sole discretion of The Dog House.

I agree that I have truthfully informed The Dog House if my pet has ever bitten another animal or a human, or if they have any other aggressive tendencies. I agree and understand that I will be held solely responsible for any injury, harm, or damage to property caused by my pet.

The Dog House reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet in an unsatisfactory state, including, but not limited to, behavioural issues, fleas, ticks, other parasites, kennel cough or other contagious diseases.

We now operate a strict 50% deposit system for all bookings and customers are required to pay said deposit at the point of booking.

Due to no show appointments we also operate a strict policy on missed appointments and I agree that if I need to change an appointment I will notify The Dog House no less than 72 hours before the booked appointment. If insufficient notice is given, I agree to pay 50% of the estimated grooming charges. If appointments are missed on a regular basis, pre-payment will be required.

We politely request that all customers drop off and collect on time. Late collections, 15 mins over the given collection time, will result in a £10 per every 15-minute past that collection time. ( please note this charge is a deterrent as we are not a licensed pet sitting service. We endeavour to avoid all extra charges, but persistent late collectors will be charged. Please also note that Bank Transfer payments musty be paid on the same day as your groom. Late payment fees may apply.
