For puppys up to 6 months of age. The perfect way to help your newest family member to learn and not be scared of being groomed. For the best start in life our puppy grooms are available for up to 3 sessions with 4 week intervals before their first hair cut and your puppy will have a bath and tidy.
Dental problems are very common to dogs and they are often affected by tartar and painful gingivitis. Dogs can't easily communicate if they get toothache, so preventative care is a must. We offer a gentle dental ultrasonic clean, without vibrations or any brushing. Up to 6 sessions required initially and then maintenance cleans at £20 each time.
Hi, my name is Jenny and I am the owner of Short Bark & Sides. I qualified and achieved my Diploma in Dog Grooming in 2016 with the award winning & champion groomer, Julie Lalou based at Dogs Delight in Chiswick. I am always keen to update my skills & knowledge and I attend many seminars and workshops throughout the year as part of my CPD. I will be starting my qualifications in the new year to become a Master Groomer and I am fully trained in Animal First Aid. My passion is Asian inspired trims with a touch of creative grooming and I often practice on my Toy Poodle, Ernie. I aim to work as holistically as possible using minimal restraints, no cages and vegan, all natural products which are kind to the skin and coat. I pride myself on educating owners on correct skin and coat care to enable us to work as a team and achieve the best possible outcome for your pet. I work on a one-to-one basis to create a calm and relaxed environment and to also minimise the stresses that a busy salon can create for dogs. This also allows me to dedicate my time 100% to your dog and build a strong bond. I have a solid working relationship with The Vet on Richmond Hill, Scott Miller and the salon is located next door to his St Margaret’s practice.
